SpaceXAI’s own framing was that it beats Grok 4.5 at the same price, and Artificial Analysis’ breakdown is the place to check that claim against numbers rather than a launch graphic. Cognition’s read is the more useful signal for anyone picking a model for agent work: they say Grok 4.6’s strength inside Devin shows up in code exploration and root-cause analysis before it edits anything, which is the part of an agent loop where a weak model burns the most tokens for the least progress. The same-day availability across three separate harnesses is now the normal shape of a frontier release, and it means the interesting question is no longer who shipped but which harness surfaces the difference.
